Fees

If you are applying for a passport, you need to pay the correct fee, in the local currency.

The following prices are correct as of 26 August 2009:

32-page adult passport - £124.50
32-page child (under-16) passport - £79.50
48-page 'jumbo' passport - £150.50
Emergency passport* - £55.50
Call out fee (for issuing a temporary or emergency passport outside of office hours)*** - £121.00

* Only available if other types of passports cannot be printed in time
** Not available at all embassies or consulates
*** For every hour or part of an hour, for each officer, up to a maximum of £870.00

Note: You need to pay the correct fee, in the local currency when you apply for a passport.

All fees are payable in cash, in Euro only. These fees are effective from 3 April 2008.
