If you have any queries or questions concerning the British Armed Forces, defence issues or bilateral defence relations between Britain and Moldova please e-mail the Defence Section at Defence.Bucharest@fco.gov.uk.

What we do in Moldova

The relationship between the British and Moldovan Armed Forces is a strong one which has developed over a number of years. There is an annual programme of activities under the UK Ministry of Defence’s ‘Outreach’ initiative. In order to carry this out, a Bilateral Programme of Military Co-operation is signed each year, which lists the activities which will take place both in Moldova and the UK. These include seminars, courses, visits, exchanges, military exercises, and so on.
